So, you wish to know about me, eh? Well, I am 25 years old. I now live in SE Indiana but I'm still a Canadian Citizen, and plan on staying that way.

I grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada with my parents and my two younger brothers, Severin, who is 22, and Jordan, who is 12. Severin is currently taking a year off from university and is hoping to get a job on a cruise ship as an activities organizer. I know he'll do very well as that. He is also a counsellor for Kinasao Bible Camp in the summers. Jordan has finished gr 6 and is a bundle of energy. But he's a lot of fun to be around and I love him dearly. My father is a grain farmer. That means that NO, we do not raise livestock, just grain. During the winter he teaches a Farm accounting program thru Settler. My mother, does everything. *chuckle* I'm not kidding. my mom is into absolutly everything imaginable. I don't know how she finds time to raise kids. If you live in the Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba area and would like my dad to teach a course in your area, email him at this address. My brother Severin, as it happens, has an email address. He is always looking for people to write him. Especially since he's 22 and single. ANY girls who read this, please write him!!!

On June 5th, 1999 I married my Husband Roy Kirkpatrick in my hometown church in Saskatchewan. His family was able to come up from Texas for this ceremony, and many of our friends and my family were present as well. Roy is a Merchant Mariner and is currently an Asst. Engineer on a casino boat here in Indiana. We haven't gotten our wedding photos back yet, as soon as we do, I shall post them here. To see pictures of us together click here.

In my spare time I read fantasy, Sci-fi, and mysteries. My favorite authors are Anne McCaffery, Jo Clayton, Robin McKinley, and Sir A. Conan Doyle (he wrote Sherlock Holmes). I also colour dragons, work with many crafts, including calligraphy, origami, stamp art, and cross-stitch. I write poetry and now, more recently I am attempting a short story as well. As well, I spend waaaay to much time in here chatting with my friends.

I've been told that I don't have enough here about me. Well, that would be because I never know what to say about me. I'm a bit of a dreamer I guess. And in person, I tend to ramble on forever. *grin* I'm a talker, and a people person. I love being with my friends, but I also love being alone and enjoying my own sanctuary. My mom is forever telling me I'm a procrastinator andthat I need to get off my duff and do something. I do, but I do it in my own time.I like to take notice of the world around me, and if that means leaving the dishes till tomorrow so I can go and wander in the park, thenI will. I also have this nasty habit of treating myselfto things that I probably don't really need, but are nice to have. I'll buy myself flowers on occassion, or some fairly expensive chocolate if I've had a really bad day. I guess I believe in making yourself feel good.

Just for all you Americans, this is the Provincial flag for Saskatchewan.
