Friends are Forever
We have a love that no one can break,
no matter how hard they try.
We are always there for each other,
with support and a listening ear.
Years may go by,
Oceans may seperate us,
But our love will still be there,
Because Friends are Forever.
I've seen inside of you,
and you've seen my heart too.
You always know,
instincively,
what will make me smile.
You always know,
somehow,
when I need a hug
or a shoulder to lean on.

And now, a disalusionment poem:
Reality Sucks
We live in a world where
what you look like is the most important thing.
You could be the funniest,
greatest,
most wonderful person in the world,
but, if you're plain-looking,
no one cares.
It's ironic that we find friends
in a computer.
Because only there, do people look
inside first,
and then ask what you look like.
But by then, it doesn't matter.
They know you are beautiful inside.
It's ironic that in a world saying
"we shouldn't judge others", and
"we are all beautiful",
that no one believes it.
That people still judge by looks.
Those of us that fall short of the standard
are forced to find friends that we will never see.
It's only in our "cyber-world" that we find
The acceptance we crave so much.
(sorry, had to be said)

Abba Father,
I sing a song
of praise
and thanksgiving to You.
