Russia is not in a very good strategic situation. It has very few troops, and has to fend off both Germany and Japan at the same time. Therefore, if Russia is to survive, it must take a defensive stand. Russia must buy Infantry every turn, until it can survive long enough to march into the Germany controled Eastern European countries. After that, it can take an offensive stand. On the first round, Russia should attack and secure Eastern Europe. This will cut off the German units in Germany, Southern Europe, and Western Europe. However, if you lose this battle, you are in serious trouble. Do not attack Manchuria unless you feel lucky, because you will need the infantry to defend against the Japanesse onslaught of Asia. Every round, you should take back any territory that Germany takes from you. Don't worry about Japan until they get about 3 or 4 territories away from the capital. Then start to defend against them. The defense of Russia really depends on good rolls and support from your Allied friends. If the other Allied powers can keep Germany busy in the east, you will be able to hold off Germany. If they cannot, you will die in about 3 or 4 rounds.
