To Christians the world over this is one of the most holy days of the year. It is the day Christ rose from the grave to join God in Heaven having given his life to take away our sins and allow us to enter Heaven. It is a time to reflect on the man and his short life on this earth and the sacrifice he made. It is also a time for brightly decorated Easter eggs, bunnies, ducks and chicks. All of them have special meanings from what they're developed into. Most of them come from days long before Jesus, they come from our pagan forefathers. Most of the meanings are related to Spring and renewal. The world was coming to life after often hash winters and this was a time to celebrate rebirth of the earth. But however it is celebrated it all stems from new beginnings. It is a joyous time of year and one that I love very much. So look about you and see life a new, take time to be thankful for what you have and those you share your life with.
