Softbreeze Furry Friends

We have been very lucky to share our lives with lots of furry friends. They were and are a very important part of our life as a family. They have come in all shapes and sizes and temperments. *L* If I could take care of them properly I'd have a house full. Good thing I have a husband who understands.

Right now we have three cats (Fuzzy Britches, Tiny and Amelia) and a Boxer named Rusty. Rusty is my daughters dog but he is spoiled by all. He is his grandma's baby. *S* Yes I have a furry grandchild. The cats are loved but being cats they decide when they want attention...no surprise there! *L* I must admit that we had a cat that was anexception. Billy was a lover to say the least. He was a huge sponge and he loved to snuggle and have his belly rubbed. But no matter we love them all. They have been good company when my husband is gone on business, usually at least one sticks to me like glue if I'm sick, or is sitting by me on the couch watching tv. That's usually the dog but now again one of the cats will hop up too.

Along with the happy times are the sad. We lost our Billy this January. I still cry when I think about him. Even though we all know they will not be with us forever it's still hard to lose one. You can't ever "replace" one, you just make a new friend.

I will tell you about our current bunch and my Billy who left us so follow the links below. But first Rusty.
