I am Nathan King. Hear me roar.
A little about me. I was born in good ole Ft. Hood, Texas, on July 2, 1978. My first memory was in a trailor park in Arizona. Since then, I have been able to see quite a bit of the world since family moved around about every two or three years. This was because my father was in the army for 20 years. During that time I lived in Texas, Utah, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Spain, New York, Panama, Kansas, and Belguim.
My family settled in Mesa, Arizona and there I graduated from the best High School in the World-Mt.View. I then attended Mesa Community College. I spent the next two years of my life in a country in Eastern Europe called Bulgaria. I was on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I loved it and felt good knowing that I was in the service of the Lord. I came home and went to a semester of school, but a job offer came up and I couldn't refuse. That job didn't work out as I had hoped, but I was blessed with job that was a huge blessing in my life. I did marketing and video production for a company called Digital StoreFront. I learned a ton and had a great time. When this company went out of business afer 9/11, I was able to purchase the video equipment and I now do video production from my home. I am currently working for a stamped concrete company The Sharper Edge.
THE BIGGEST EVENT OF MY LIFE OCCURED ON JUNE 10, 2000. On this day I married the love of my life, Lona Patterson-King. We are having a blast and purchased our first home in March of 2001. Lona is a graduate with an accounting degree and I am working of the same degree at ASU. I will be graduating in December and will go into the active duty Air Force as a 2nd Lt. I have been selected as a Cost Analysis Officer and will work with the development of defense systems and aquisitions.
I love to do a variety of things with my free time. I like sports of all kind, especially baseball. The Mets are my favorite sports team. I love many types of music and I like to play the guitar (thanks Ben!). My current favorites include, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Counting Crows, and Weezer.
