Life today can be very difficult with its many demands and pressures. Illness can be very hard to cope with for both the ill and their loved ones. My Favorite Canadian/Maritime Female Artist is Anne Murray. Quite a few years ago (I won't tell you how many) *s* our High School Class was fortunate in having Anne as our Phys. Ed. Teacher. We enjoyed many afternoons listening to her strumming her guitar and singing our favorites in our High School Gym. (We pouted and whined incessantly if our Physical Ed. class didn't include her wonderful music).

At that time she was appearing on the Maritime T.V. Show "Singalong Jubilee." From there her Music Career took off and she soon became an International Star loved by many.

When visiting Her Museum in Spring Hill, Nova Scotia one can feel Anne's warm, light hearted, down to earth, Maritime spirit lingering in every room.
