FRIENDS I MET

These are pictures of some of my Cape Town friends. Everyone of them are very cool! Yo I miss these peepz alot cause they really helped me to have a great time in Cape Town.

The first weekend the other two students in the exchange program (Holly and Shannon) and I arrived at our host parents in the neighbohood of Belhar, immediately Shannon's host brother and his friends took us out of the house and showed us how to get around Belhar by train and taxi just so we would know how to for the remainder of the trip by outrselves. Many of the people in our host families were like all amazed and stuff when we got back from us taking the train because the train and taxi was said to be unsafe. Safe or not, we still had to do it anyway just for the cool experience. I remember how Grant (Shannon's host brother) and Eddie(Grant's friend) were telling us on the train about all the times how them and people they knew got robbed, in fights, and other cool stuff that happend to them while ridng the train. Didn't scare me at all but man....it was so fun hearing them tell these stories and riding this dangerous train at the same time.

I first met this group of friends through Mornay, who was my host brother, because they're his friends. Mornay introduced me to them for the first time @ Penn Tech, the college where I was interning, at there usual hangout spot playing cards, talking and chilling. I knew from the very first day I met them that these were some cool kidz. So feel free to check out the pictures and read the captions to get to know them better.

These pics are from Megan's formal dinner party that she held for all of us. The party was awsome, I'm telling you! @ the party I really got to know everyone better. And although my adequate dinner manners weren't up to date and everything and seeing how I wasn't used to eating properly especialy with the spotlight on me, I still managed not to loose my cool and fit in. All of us were dressed up all nice and suave (hence the name formal party) and everything, and yo the ladies were looking like no joke!!!

This is everyone looking at me. "What...why you lookn' at me guys?"

Lynn, Mornay, and Melissa. I call it "a funny moment".

Leighton and Allen. These two cool dudes wanted me to put in a good word for them when I finally meet Calven Klien.

All of us. Boy could I smile any bigger :)

Besides going to Penn Tech to be having fun and meeting new people I had a main purpose, which was to intern and kinda learn stuff in the Electronic Engineering department. I thought this would be interesting to see how they were learning electronics in South Africa. Unfortunately, I came during the period while exams were occurring and I didn't get to many opportunities to sit in on that many classes and observe. But during my time there I was working with some very cool people and these are their pics. Chill out while I introduce you to them.
