| @ Meet the IN-X-ES Band....the newest Palauan musical group. The name of the band is from letters in each of the musicians name, in case you're wonderin'. Their first album came out in January 1999 which includes the hit single 'MOUSUBES' that topped the chart in the KRFM Radio Station Countdown for over 8 weeks consecutively! The album is sold in selected stores around Palau, Guam, Yap, Pohnpei, and Saipan. The group played at Erica's Lounge in Guam from 98' to 99'. The Lounge is located in the village of Yigo in the northern part of Guam. The group played all kinds of music ranging from Palauan to Reggae to Rhythm & Blues to Rock, even popular songs from the surrounding islands of Micronesia. The main shows took place over the weekends where the bar opened as late as 7 AM in the morning!! Right now, everybody has gone their separate ways but the memory lives on. Some of the members are deciding on a second album soon so be waiting for it. As for now enjoy their music and lyrics!!! |
