The various music groups I prefer to listen to are (in no particular order):
Stir is a three-man band who got together in college after two of the members had been through Highschool together. One finished with a Marketing degree, the other two were more interested in the music. They were picked up by Capitol and have one album with Capitol. Not a hard rock band by any means, but they have a good sound and are cool guys to party with.
RAMMS+EIN is a german industrial band who were on the KORN Family Values tour in 1998. While the german language is well suited to the guttural sounds and mood that industrial heavy rock has become known for, the translation of their songs gives a new understanding.
The various techno link plays to a MOD page which has a complete description of MODs and a player to download. There is also a link in the MOD page to the MOD archive which has a a few hundred MODs to play/download by different artists, some of whom have techno albums.
Spinner is an online radio station which has channels for just about every taste. While the selections from any one category aren't as broad as a station dedicated to that type of music, their library is growing and their collection contains typical examples of the type of music the channel is dedicated to. It requires a fairly fast ans consistent web connection, so use at your own risk.
