I spoke with our director today regarding legislation on mandatory minimum sentencing. She will be contacting Representitive James Kreuser to discuss with him the possibility of him authoring a bill. She is planning to try to get a meeting with him. She suggests that you contact your representitives and the governor's office to push for legislation. Since we are in the middle of a legislative session, it is not possible that it will be introduced this session. It can not be done until next session.
