Margaret A. Jones in Craig 12-26-1855, and child Ballard m. Lucinda Griggs in Giles 12-18-1882.

The enumerated children in this Census were, Samuel (27) and Ellender (16) both born in VA. By 1860, Jacob (75) & Eleanor (62) are enumerated in the John's Creek District of Craig County, VA. A Jacob Jones is enumerated in the 1840 Giles County Census.

My ancestor named William Wallace Ratliff b. ca 1831, d. ca 1896 - his 2nd marriage was to SARA ELIZABETH FINK daughter of STEPHEN FINK and ELIZABETH BROCE, (Sarah=b. May 2, 1863 in CRAIG CO.,VA., d. 8/7/1940). Sara's father Stephen Fink was a Confederate soldier who is said to have died in a Union prison camp. Daughter of William Wallace and Sara was Margaret Jane Ratliff , my grandmother born in Princeton W.Va. 4/21/1887. Could Broce be Broche or Broach? Any information on these is appreciated.
