I will let you think all of this I will indulge you in your fancy But I will know the truth That it's nothing but a fantasy
I will wear my mask and pretend To be what you believe me to be I will not shatter your illusion And I will never let you see
The real me that no one knows My hopes my dreams my fears All these things I hide from you Just so you'll love me dear
You will never know me Not the real person inside I will be everything you want But the real me will hide
