Uniform Inspection
The CUB SCOUT UNIFORM:Wearing the uniform plays an important part in the Cub Scout experience for every boy. It shows that he belongs to the world's largest organization of boys. It is a reminder to live up to the ideals of Cub Scouting: the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack and the Cub Scout Motto -- Do Your Best. Wearing the uniform encourages neatness and proper behavior as well as providing a place to display badges and awards.
COLORS:The Cub Scout colors are Blue & Gold. Blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty, and the sky above. Gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness. Together, they symbolize what Cub Scouting is all about!
PATCHES:Where do they go? That's always the question. Hopefully, this diagram will help. Any questions? E-mail us or ask us at the next den meeting.
PARENTS:Although we check uniforms regularly at meetings, parents can help make sure that each scout gets the most out of wearing his uniform by performing an inspection of your son before he attends a scout function. If he is dressed correctly, not only will he look his best, but he will also feel good about himself and perform at his best! The following inspection list may help you when performing a uniform inspection: |
