Neighborhood Watch is a program of mutual assistance among neighbors aimed at reducing crime in the community at the grass roots level. It involves getting to know one's neighbors and be willing to work together with them to look out for one another's interest. Neighbors working together through Neighborhood Watch can combat crime in their area before it starts. Those interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch in their neighborhoods should contact the Dyer County Sheriff's Office at 285-2802.
