I am 37 years old. I live in Vancouver, British Columbia on Canada's beautiful West Coast. I just finished attending Simon Fraser University. I have completed a BA in Psychology and Criminology and a Post-Baccalaureate in Psychology. Now on to Graduate school. When I am done I will have a PhD in Clinical Forensic Psychology. School has been the most important thing in my life. It has always come first. Sometimes that means I miss out on things I would like to do, but school is something I like to do and need to do.

Likes: Beach volleyball (doubles), whitewater rafting, in-line skating, camping, hiking, horse-back riding, relaxing, reading, dancing, school, sunshine, honesty, sincerity.

Dislikes: DISHONESTY, insincere compliments, clerks in stores who ask me how I am today - they don't really want to know (along the lines of insincerity), incompetence, intolerance of other cultures/beliefs, being confused, being unorganized, cruelty to animals - even snakes which scare the hell out of me.

Favourite Food: Asian (e.g., Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc.), Mexican, anything chocolate

Favourite Movies: "Officer and a Gentleman", "Pretty Woman", "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", "The Bodyguard", "Braveheart", "Wedding Planner", anything with Sean Connery, anything Disney.

Favourite Music: Evanescence, India Arie, Alicia Keys, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Toni Braxton, Deborah Cox, Blackstreet, R. Kelly, Destiny's Child, TLC, Brandy, Monica, En Vogue, Seal, anything put together by Babyface. Actually like the sexy R&B beat best, but also like Sarah McLachlan, Loreena McKennitt, and Latin music (don't understand most of it, but like the energy and the beat).

Things to do: Learn to rock climb, have a family of my own, and travel to Scotland, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, India, Asia, and South America (not necessarily in that order). More interested in seeing and doing things rather than just hanging out. Want to see such things as pyramids, ruins, and the Plains of Africa with its wildlife. I like places with ancient history or places relatively untouched by "progress".

On that note ... I was in Thailand in January/February 2003. I have now seen just a small corner of Asia and it was beautiful. Take a look at some of my pictures.
