High School Years in Canada

Leaving Taiwan to go to Canada was the single most important event of my life. I just turned 16, and Ann 14. We were sent to a private boarding school in Victoria, BC, Canada. St. Margaret's School would be our home for the next 2 years. The third year we would move to Delta, BC, where we would attend a public school called Seaquam Secondary School. In those 3 years I did more than I had ever done in my 14 years living in Taiwan. And one thing I'm certain is that when I retire, Victoria/Vancouver is where I'll live.

SNOW!!! Excuse our excitment. It was the very first time in our life seeing snow.
Left to right: me, Shu, and Joanne. Shu was wearing a traditional Chinese "Ci-Pao." It was the Taiwanese Dinner and all the Taiwanese had to prepare for the event.
Shu's grad. I was the one at the back, and Shu's the one with the spiky hair :) Hey, it's her grad.
Shu's grad. Shu's the one on top of us...
