I got Buddy aka Budweiser on a farm
in early 1988. He was about 5 months old.
Buddy is still playful as a kitten and other
than breaking off one of his fangs($250.00 for
a kitty root canal)he has enjoyed great health.
We got Mickey aka Michelobe from a box at
the grocery store in the summer of 1988.
He was the quietest kitten in the box(that
didn't last long). Mickey is really loud
and will tell you when he is hungry(always)
and it's time to use the can opener. Mickey
doesn't eat hard dry food(when we are watching),
also he is very soft to touch and will even
allow you to pet him if you know where the can
opener is located and know how to use it. ;)
We finally bought our own house and got Precious
from the humane society in 1994. Precious was
found locked in a garage with no ventilation and
no food or water in 95F degree weather. She is
Chow/Shepherd ? and was probably born around
Christmas 1993. She has been a very good girl
lately(hasn't drawn blood on anyone this year).
Zoi is our 3rd Tom Cat, he joined us in 1990. Zoi
was found under a wheel well of a car during a real
bad thunderstorm. He was crying for his mother, he
wasn't old enough to be on his own when we found him.
Zoi doesn't know how to purr out loud but you can feel
him purring when you pet the sides of his face. Zoi
loves the sides of his face petted and if you get tired
just leave your hand out and he will pet himself. Don't
forget to leave your hand where he can reach it, he'll
bite your hand if you remove it before he is finished.
Mouse Alert !
Shady Lady is our newest addition, January 1998.
Her mother is a black labrador/black chow and
her father is a rottweiler. All of our cats and dogs
get along well with each other. They are all spayed
or neutered(except Shady and she will be in June).
We have a huge park across the street(see index
background)and have allowed the cats to roam since
we moved here. Actually the cats decided that they
were now allowed outside and we just gave in.
