I´m always interested in Buddy Holly memorabilia. He´s the father of today´s pop music. He put together the 50:ies rock music in a special timeless concept like nobody else could. He based his music on rock-a-billy expressed by Elvis, Perkins, Burnette, B ry, Cochran, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and others and took it into the future. Holly's music still sounds new, although it is "40 years young". This summer, July 29, I will attend a concert in Sweden with three legends performing together - Berry, Lee Lewis and Little Richard. I've been a Buddy Holly fan for just about as long as I can remember (my father bought his 78s back in the fifties and I've kept on buying recordings and books), though I must admit that Elvis is my first choice (sorry!). Anyway, do you know that Royal Do lton has just released a Character Jug of Buddy? It's a 2500 limited edition large size jug. The handle is made up of a number of Coral records with some sheet music (one clearly marked Peggy Sue) imposed on a sunburst Strat. How do you get a form on a Geocities site? (I thought this was not possible!)
