Tasks implemented:
1. English-Japanese
translation. The difficulty of the task was mainly in finding
the right Japanese market equivalents for American medical brand
names. Also, there may be more than one way of writing a foreign
brand name in Japanese. QA of bulk translations with a lot of medical
terms and specific word usage is very time-consuming.
2. Graphics
made in Adobe Photoshop 6.0, Multilingual Windows XP.
3. Keywords
adjustment during localization is always a challenge. Translated
words or combinations may not be likely keywords in the target language.
4. Search
engine promotion takes months for first results to show.
5. Cross-linking
is an ongoing process. Exchanging links with related web sites improves
exposure and credibility.
