The greatest football club on earth, in my opinion. For its winning ways, its tradition and the players it has. It may not be top dog in England now but it is and has always been my number one footie club.

I remember staying up to watch the great Liverpool teams of the 80s play in the FA Cup finals, rejoicing at each win and feeling really miserable at each defeat. Watching Liverpool play Arsenal here in Singapore for a performance match. Watching John Barnes and his lovely runs down the flank.

But for now, my favourite Liverpool player is Michael Owen. Yeah, how common you say. But I think he is the player of the moment for LFC. I really hope he goes on to be one of the great players in the world. He certainly has the talent to do so.
