Oh no! Another welsh band... But this lot are a hell of a lot better than the likes of Gorkys and the Super Furries, and all those others who never got past adolescence, still thinking magic wizards and acid are cool. Scuba seem to have avoided the obligatory lobotomy and produce a rather acceptable noise. This is class pop at its very, very best. All the required elements are here - tunes, image, charisma, longevity. There's a whole album's worth of top notch material here. For once you don't have to convince yourself that this is a good band. You simply can't ignore it.
