OK
! FINE ! I AM AN ADDICT ! I am not gonna deny that
I
am. I cant survive a day without it. Sometimes I have
3
rounds of it , ok maybe 4 … pushing it is 5. ( you don’t
want
to talk to me after that … ) I have been an addict
evensince
I was in grade 3. Pretty young huh? Well, you
know
what they say … better start young. I remember
days
when I don’t have my daily dosage, I shake during
the
day and I cant seem to work properly. Whatever time
of
the day, wherever I may be … I gotta have my cup of
coffee
!!! sure its coffee, that I am addicted to, what
were
you thinking ? hhmmm, you and your imaginative
minds
…
Probably
some already know that I have Cup to help me
for
my coffee. Yes, it’s a capital C, thank you very much.
It
has been in service, day and night, no noon breaks
sometimes,
for atleast 10 years. Talk about loyalty, huh?
Cup
is dark green with a wide mouth and an average
ear
… enough for my index finger to slip through. Well,
thank
God I don’t have a favorite teaspoon or something.
Cup
has handled the most steamy-hot waters and yes,
up
to the coldness of ice cream. Cup is multi-talented.
Anyways,
Cup is really a lil shy to talk about itself so …
lets
go talking about the the essense of Cup … where
its
existence depend on -- coffee.
This
probably a long shot but, I think love is like a cup of
coffee.
Ironic comparison, don’t you agree? … yeah, I
have
never realized that until this morning. I had
meaningful
relationships of my own and sure, I have
cursed
some. Like making coffee, you aimed for the
right
mixture … for the right kind of taste that you want
to
savor from the aroma to the last drop of coffee in the
buttom
of your cup. Love can sometimes be bitter.
Some
preffered it that way … bitter and dark. But I want
to
put some color on it, I put a lil creamer. To lighten up
the
taste and ofcourse, like in relationships, what makes
it
good … the sweetness, sugar. I like it two teaspoonful.
I
like it sweet. Sometimes I tend to put too much sugar
that
destroys the whole mixture. But you learn, try to
cut
down next time. And just like coffee, love gives you
this
certain kind of highness during and after drinking.
Sure
a lot of physicians and magazine articles have
warned
us how can too much caffaine affects your
health.
But we still drink it, infact so engrossed that we
don’t
get contented with just a cup, we go for another
one.
In
my case, no doctor … no person for that matter, can
stop
me from having my coffee. Hey, I am twenty-one
and
I am an addict. Rehabilitate me if you must but I will
still
go back. Loving like coffee, is something I simply
cant
get enough of.
How about you, what is your addiction?
