MY
SPECIAL FRIEND
By Dawn
Dedicated
to: Denis |
Desperate
the distance seems between us ..............
For I've never gazed in your eyes of lust..............
Never has my hands caress your face..........
Never has your touch made my heart race......
Nor with tender gentleness have I ever wiped your tears....
Or felt your heart beat next to mine dear........
But yet it seems as if I have always known you..........
As you turn gray skies to a hopeful blue......
My friend in times of need, spiritually holding my hand.......
As my heart calls to you like a helpless lamb............
Still the distance is desperate.........
Like a giant wall keeping us separate.....
And my arms can't reach that far..........
and the night seems so dark...........
So for now I can only send this........
My love, my friendship, and a hopeful wish.........

SILENT
WHISPER
By Dawn.
I
wrote this during a time I was being abused
I
now Dedicated to those on the internet looking for
someone
or
to be heard

STRUGGLING
IN THE COLD DARKNESS.....
IS BUT A SILENT WHISPER OF LONELINESS
ECHOING THROUGH THE HOLLOW EMPTINESS
WAITING TO BE HEAR AND RISE ABOVE THE CRAZINESS
BUT ONLY ON THE SHADOW OF DEAFENED EARS SHALL IT REST
UNTIL THE DESPERATE CRY DIES FOREVER IGNORED
WHILE SOME WHERE ANOTHER TRIES TO BE HEARD
AND LEFT BEHIND IS A LOST SOULS UNANSWERED TEAR
THE SILENT WHISPER,"Is
anyone there?"

CUPID'S
PROMISE
By Dawn
Dedicated
to Sonia |
Your
pain to me is clear
But friends,we are near
Free your heavy heart from gloom
For in our hearts there is room
To shower and comfort you with love
And shine light upon you from above
Until for our lovely lady
Clouds fades from your day
When true love from cupids arrows
will strike you again from in the shadows

A
Journey Though Life |
From
a calm shore
A tiny sailboat sails for heaven's door
For where the ocean and sky share the color blue
And the sunrise is as romantic as the moon
But the seas they do easily become enraged
And the skies turn darkened gray
Then sky and sea with a great wrath
Rings with vengeance along the sail boats path
Against the tempests waving arms and monstrous sky
The tiny sailboat struggles not to die
Wrestling with odds so bad
And finding inner strength she had not known she had
The storm and rain soon does end
To become the sail boat's friend
So the tiny sailboat sails the ocean once again
Her fragile heart to mend
