GODS PROMISE
God didn't promise days without pain
OH ! my women I must declare
Soon I embark on a journey of dreams,
The WISHING WELL
The lights are out, its time to go
WASTED LOVE
what am i suppose to do with these feelings i have
for you, Everything between us ended so soon,i dont
think you realized or wanted to realize that i wanted
more between us. I wont be able to get over you as
quickly as you have gotten over me. What did you
really want from me,was it a good time or did you
want me to fill a void space untill someone else came
along. You dont understand how much it hurts to know
that at this very moment you are holding someone
else.
And while you are holding someone else, all i have to
hold are the memories.
I guess the thought of me ended as quickly as what we
had together. Why did things have to end so
quickly, you didnt even have the guts to tell me there
was someone else.
When i think back to the moments we were together i
cant help but think they were wasted moments.
And also thinking that what we had then could become
part of my future was wasted time.
And the effort that i made to show you how much i
cared was wasted effort.
And the worst thing is,I could have given somebody
who really cared my soul, but instead I gave it to
someone who wasted what i had left to give.
A PRAYER FOR THE CHILDREN
We pray for the children who sneak popsicles
before supper, We pray
for the children who bring us sticky kisses and
fistfuls of dandelions, We pray for children who
spend all their allowance before Tuesday, We pray for children
who want to be carried MY
PROMISE TO YOU... As we take the walk of
life And when it comes to loved ones I cannot say
or do much You have
beent here for me You
have always been the Superbear But now
the shoe has changed its place Let me be your walking
cane No matter
what happens TIME TO
GO Pardon me doctor, but may I die? Written with a pen, sealed with a
kiss, if you love me, please answer this:
The Teddy Bear
You've come to me
magically
From out of the blue...
An unexpected gift
A friendship so true
Never have I known anyone
That's as special as you.
You come to me as words
That melt my inner heart
You found my smile
And sent it back across the miles.
Though I've never seen your face
I know who you are
My dearest, closest, special friend
I know we'll never part.
Out of all the souls
Throughout all eternity...
I believe we're webbed together
Eternally, forever in time
Our souls, they did collide.
two hearts that really care
For memory spans the miles
and, in seconds, we are there.
We hear the voice, we see the smile,
and deep inside we know
That friends remain a part of us
wherever we may go.
So we can visit anytime,
not matter when or where,
For distance never separates
two hearts that really care.

laughter without sorrow
or sun without rain
but God did promise
strength for the days
comfort for the tears
and a light for the way
and for all who believe
in His kingdom above
he answers their faith
with everlasting love

I read your poem i know you care
I'm now your Zardoz from afar i care.
I'm strong enough to be your bear.
In the speed of light I'll be there
To run my
fingers through your hair
I know you have a man
If he can't love you I can
one day we will walk in sand
together holding your hand
By: Zardoz
a journey to join two hearts it seems
to meet a lady who fills my heart
to unite two lovers from miles apart
at loves first kiss a fire will blaze
to warm my nights for the rest of my days
a rush
of emothions, a passionate blend
I will say love is forever again
a star will be born, a twinkle in my eye
so dare
ye ask or wonder why
a notion I send so you will know
that if by chance your heart doth glow
and if you see a shooting star
stop and wonder where we are
for I have the courage to follow this dream
for I
know what real love may truly bring

I just cant pretend anymore
my feelings for you were pure and true
How hard ive tried to be with you
But now that you say you don't care
I'll stop throwing pennies in the wishing well
cause
if I'm not wanted I'll not stay
all alone again, I'm on my way
your struggles and troubles I wanted to ease
but
Ive made them worse, my calls will cease
I wish
you the best for you and your heart
I hope that
this "doug" creates this spark
I hope he makes
you smile, and keeps your heart warm
creates the
rainbows after the storm
But if you think of me, you know where I am
And
if you can't well I understand
But I'll save one more penny
to remind me of you
and if the time should arise,
I'll toss it in too

who erase holes in math
workbooks,
who can never find their shoes.
And we pray for those who stare at photographers from
behind barbed wire,
who can't bound down the
street in a new pair of sneakers,
who never
"counted potatoes,"
who are born in places where
we wouldn't be caught dead,
who never go to the
circus,
who live in an x-rated world
who hug us in a hurry and
forget their lunch money.
And we pray for those
who never get dessert,
who have no safe blanket
to drag behind them,
who watch their paretns
watch them die,
who can't find any bread to
steal,
who don't have any rooms to clean up.
whose pictures aren't on anybody's dresser,
whose
monsters are real.
who
like ghost stories,
who shove dirty clothes under
the bed,
who never rinse out the tub,
who
gets visits from the tooth fairy,
who don't like
to be kissed in front of the carpool,
who squirm
in church or temple
and scream in the phone,
whose tears we sometimes laught at
and whose
smiles can make us cry
And we pray for those
whose nigthmares come in the daytime,
who will
eat anything,
who have never seen a dentist,
who aren't spoiled by anybody,
who go to bed
hungry and cry themselves to sleep,
who live and
move, but have no being.
and for those who must,
who we never give up on
and for those who
don't get a second chance.
For those we smother
and for those who will grab the hand of anybody
kind enough to offer it.

There's one thing that's for sure
no
matter all the good one's we have
the bad one's we
must endure.
the
hurt is vast indeed
but when you need a little
strength
just find a friend indeed.
no magic words to heal
but one thing
that I do know
Is how I really feel.
helped me see a way
and for
this I thank you dearly
in a special way.
the friend that I
could trust.
To help me see things
differently
to clear my mind of dust.
fate has dealt a
hand
I want you to know that I'll be here
and
holding out my hand
to help you if you stumble
I will be right
by your side
in your time of trouble
or what the future brings
there is
one thing that I know
our friendship stays the
same.

I know
your oath requires you to try to keep me alive
So
long as my body is warm and there is a breath of
life,
But listen Doc, I've buried my wife
My
children are grown and on their own.
My friends
are all gone, and I want to go too.
no mortal man
should keep me here
When the call from Him is
unmistakably clear.
I deserver the right to slip
quietly away.
My work is done and I am
tired
your motives are noble, but now I
pray.
You can read in my eyes what my lips cant
say
Listen to my heart and you'll hear it
cry.
PARDON ME DOC, BUT MAY I DIE?
By: Suter
D. Webster
Do you love me, or do you not?
You told me once but I forgot.
So tell me now and tell me true,
So I can tell you...I love you!!
Of all the people I've ever met,
You are the only one I can't forget.
And if I die before you do,
I'll go to heaven and wait for you.
if you are not there by judgement day,
I'll know you went the other way.
I'll give the angels back their wings,
And risk the loss of everything.
Just to prove my love is true,
I'll go to hell to be with you."

Some teddy's are old,
And some teddy's are new,
But they always watch over
Whatever you do.
A new teddybear,
So fuzzy and clean,
Is just waiting to hear
What its child might dream.
Some teddy's are fluffy,
And look quite new.
And some show the signs
Of the years they've been through.
Some teddy's are soft,
And others are not.
They're beat up, or lumpy,
Or hard as a rock.
Those old teddybears
Have had years of use,
And luckily survived
A young child's abuse.
Some sit high on a shelf,
And look down on the world,
Trying to watch out
For their favorite boy or girl.
So wherever you are,
If a teddybear's in sight,
A child's imagination,
Has just taken flight.
Because teddybears can,
In their own special ways,
Help to make brighter
Even the darkest of days.
