Well, if you've come here, then I guess you are interested in what my musical tastes are. I love all kinds of music and I respect and admire all singers and musicians. I have sworn off any music that is "evil", so now I only listen to "non evil" musicians and christian musicians.
My absolute fave singer of all time is Michael Jackson!! Yes, I know some people don't like him because of all the lies, but I love him. I don't believe any of the stuff people try to spread about him. He is an amazing singer, dancer and overall person. I could go on forever talking about him but I'll spare you. :) I love to listen to Fiona Apple. She has a beautiful voice and very beautiful herself. I love all her songs. She is very talented.
Another favorite of mine is Weird Al Yankovic. He is sooooo funny. He is also a quite good singer if he tries to be! =)
I also very much like Tori Amos. She has a beautiful voice. She is so talented. I highly reccommend listening to her if you have not yet.
Christian Musicians:
Newsboys- These guys are so awesome. They were the first Christian group that I started liking. They are, in my opinion, one of the best out there for Christian groups.
Third Day- They are a kinda country Christian group. They are very good as well. I am very impressed by their songs. Very good and reccommended!
Michael W Smith- Very soulful and talented. I've liked him since the beginning as well. For a whole year, him and the Newsboys were the only christian singers I knew. He is very good and has an awesome voice.
Disciple- They are a heavy metal type christian band. If you thought there was no such thing (like a lot of people I know) then you were wrong. They are awesome at preaching the word in a heavy fashion.
DC Talk: These people are so awesome. I'm not sure what type of music they are though because different somgs are different types of music. They are very cool though. Another one of my faves. Very very highly reccommended.
and last but not least:
Creed- A popular christian band. They are played on the radio and tv a lot. I think its amazing that a christian can become so popular with the youths. I give them major props!
