PENN & TELLER

This is my tiny little page on Penn and Teller, two of the BEST magician/comedy people in the world. You will not find any sissy David Copperfield stuff with these guys. They make you laugh, they make you say EWWWWWW! They are the coolest guys around. And now they have their own show on FX network called SIN CITY SPECTACULAR! SO if you are lucky enough to get the FX Network on your TV, then you can be lucky enough to watch. I unfortunately DON'T get FX since my cable company is too cheap or something.

So anyhow, this is what I know about Penn and Teller, if you wanna know more you gotta go to the official site at the link below. They have tons of info including where they are going to be next!

Teller was born in Philadelphia PA, Feb 14, 1948. Not sure of his height, but he's tiny next to Penn, he is the silent partner.

Penn was born in Greenfield MA , March 5, 1955 He is 6ft 6inch tall!!!!! He is the Talking half of the act.

Penn Lives in Las Vegas Nevada, this is also where the show is taped. They have been together since 1975 (my birthyear!) and have managed to even write three books! "How to play with your food", "How to play in traffic" and "Cruel Jokes for Dear Friends". I even managed to wrangle a autographed pic of them. ( My mom got it for me!) They are way cute!!! Penn was also in the movie Hackers.Together they wrote and acted in "Penn and Teller Get Killed". Wish he(Penn)would do some more movies, he was really good. They have also appeared in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and The Drew Carey Show.

Well as promised I am writing about the awesome time I had at the Penn and Teller show at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord NH on Feb 13, 1999. First off let me say, THE SHOW WAS AWESOME!! I don't want to give anything away because I don't want to spoil it for any one who hasn't see it yet. But wow, they were just wonderful. I managed to buy a T-shirt and I saw everything, I was Center Orcestra about 5 or 6 rows from the stage! The seats were awesome, Penn and Teller even come down off the stage a few times durring the night, so even if you are in the back you can see them up close. The show lasted about an hour and a half(+ intermission). And it was non stop all the way! If you haven't seen Penn and Teller, I'm telling you get tickets and get your butt to see them. They have more audiance interaction than any other magic/comedy show I have ever been to. So check it out, you won't be disappointed.

UPDATE- The super Uber cool P&T now have a show on um.. hmm one of the movie channels. Its called Penn and Teller Bullshit. It's pretty interesting. Informative and all that. Not really funny, not much by way of magic. Mostly opinions and views. But It's worth checking out for sure.

So that's the limit of my knowledge of the ultra cool, Penn and Teller.
