NEW!!! Read my concert review of June 5, 1999 in the Amsterdam ArenA

This part of the homepage is about my favourite group, the Backstreet Boys. As I told on the other page, music is a big part of my life. It's always playing around me, I couldn't image living one day without it. When I was a young boy, I sang along with the radio and other music. I remember the day in 1995 that I was watching some kind of hitlist on TV. My eye felt on a videoclip and a song with the name "Get Down". I loved it! Since that day I follow everything around this group. Their albums are great and certainly the best ones I have.

OK, I admit that they were quite like a boyband in the beginning, like there were many of those groups. Covers on the teen idol magazines, concerts with thousands of screaming girls were the image of this band. Maybe in some way it still is, but people who watch them a little closer may have noticed that their image has changed a little from a boyband to a serious group which simply work hard to make good music.

Their new album was released worldwide on 17 and 18th May this year. It's called "Millennium" (howoriginal) and contains 12 new tracks. The guys wrote some songs theirselves. The first single of the album is called I want it that way. It has been released on the end of April.

My favourite group members are Nick Carter and Brian Littrel, simply because I think they have the best voices. Recently I read the book The heart and soul of Nick Carter which was written by Nick's mother - Jane Carter. It describes his years when he was a little boy, his ambition to sing and his early performances. It's a great books for all fans who like Nick and BSB. It can be ordered via your book store or Amazon.com.
