Well, Let's see...What do ya wanna know? I am a student of Art and I hope to be a fashion designer one day....I like to paint, take photos, draw, cook...and sometimes I like to write about myself. Aren't we all vain creatures?
Family
I've got my mom who's like, one of my best friends and a little sister; Spud, she's 14. I also have another sister, Peanut, who's a year older than me. We have one of those complicated family situations with steps and halfs and ex-steps, etc., but we just say screw it. We're all sisters.
This is me and Jim. We're engaged now, but I haven't uploaded any newer pics of us in a while.
Friends
Well my best friend is Meagan. She lives in Florida, sort of in Fort Lauderdale and sort of in Miami ... It's really kinda neat how we met. Jim lived in New Jersey till he was 5, before he moved to Ohio, and his longtime childhood friend, Jared, still lives there. His family used to go visit NJ all the time, so it wasn't like Jim and Jared got estranged. in 2000 Jim and I went to visit Jared and met Meagan through him. When we came home, Meagan and I exchanged email and screennames, and have bonded. Finally in 2002 I got to go visit her, through her parents generosity; more about that below.
Scott is also a best friend, but I would classify him as *our* best friend. The three of us, me Jim and Scott, hang out quite often, and our dogs are the best of friends. You can say to Charlie, "want to go see Dixie?" and he will flip out cause he loves Dixie. We also like to play pool a lot and go to the dog park.
Ed and Wes sort of belong in a category together cause they are just so funny and they are best friends. Ed is getting his pilot's license at Ohio University, and Wes currently works at Nasa. He has his bachelor's in computer science but is going to grad school in CS also at OU.
Christiana is a good good friend from OU, who, upon graduating and getting married, moved out to Seattle. I don't get to see her nearly as often as I would like. Then there's Nicole, who upon graduating moved out to Colorado Springs to work at the Olympic Training Center. I don't get to see her nearly as often either. However her job affords her some really neat travel opportunities which I am insanely jealous of.
LAKe is my nearest and dearest friend, who more or less mentored me while I was growing up, helped me through some rough times and is, to me, one of those rare souls who is well on the path to self actualization. She has fostered in me a great desire to better myself, and also a great love and appreciation for dogs and to learn as much about canine health and training. I have been enlightened in many paths by her friendship.
Travel
Spring Break 97 I went to Disneyworld with the family. I had fun, wouldn't mind going back. Summer of 97 I went back to New York City!!I swear I was meant to live there. Spring break of 98 I went to FRANCE!!! It was a lot of fun and I would highly recommend to anybody that they go. It is awesome. Spring break 99 I went camping, then got sick and spent the rest of break on the couch...it sucked. Christmas of 2001 we went to Disneyworld again! That was a good time too. Spring of 2002 I went to visit Ms. Meagan in Miami. My only regret was that we were both very poor at the time so we didn't get to shop nearly as much as we would have liked. But we did spend a lot of time at the beach.
T.V.
I like Third Watch, NYPD Blue, South Park, Dark Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Osbournes, Real World (but I only really ever consistently watched Chicago) Will and Grace, Friends of course... For some reason now I am starting to like Crank Yankers. I thought that show was the stupidest idea when I first heard about it but it is actually pretty funny, if you can get over watching some silly puppets. I could offer a long running commentary on all of these shows but since I don't want to waste your time, I'll let you move on.
