The Journey

Life is like a journey.  (Is your life a journey or a "trip"?)

We're all on different roads trying to get someplace.

Some of you travel alone.

Some of you have passengers you enjoy that make your journey enjoyable.

Some of you have back seat drivers always giving their opinions and telling
you how to live your life.  You're on a looong trip!

Some of you have new vehicles (body) with lots of energy.

Some of you have late models and you're feeling tired and weary from it all
because you haven't been consistent with your maintenance.

Some of you have maps (goals) and you know where you're going.

Some of you are lost and confused and keep making u-turns, burning up gas
and energy and always asking others for directions.

Some of you are reading somebody else's map!

Some of you are enjoying the scenery along the way to your destination.

Some of you are traveling so fast and so anxious for your destination that
you're not even enjoying the scenery and journey along the way.

Some of you are using cheap fuel (junk food) and wondering why your vehicle
won't start or acts so sluggish.

Some of you are using the best fuel because you know you're worth it.

Some of you are running into dead ends, holes in the road, detours, bad
weather and roadblocks  ... but you still keep going.

Some of you turn around when you see the first red or yellow light.

Some of you keep looking in the rear view mirror (your past) and you can't
keep your eye on where you're going.

And some of you are so impatient and keep asking, "when am I going to get there?"

And some of you don't even have a key (faith, vision, dreams) to even get
started.  You're still sitting in the garage of life.

For some of you the ride is uncomfortable and bumpy because you are not
aligned with your four tires (spiritual, emotional, physical, mental), you
need balance and realignment.

Some of you can't handle the ups and downs, you stress out too easily, you
need better shock absorbers (faith).

For some of you your journey has too many passengers, it's moving too slow
because you're trying to rescue, pick up and help too many people.

Some of you are in slow traffic traveling by yourself because you're used to
being alone or you're afraid to trust, help or share with others.

And some of you are in the "diamond lane" (commuter lane).

Those in the "diamond lane" are getting to your destination much faster
because you realize that when two or more are gathered in good purpose,
like-minded, similar values, similar goals, seeking God's guidance and
willing to share and help others .... you will bypass those in slow traffic traveling solo.

Some of you find yourself running out of gas (tired, discouraged, depressed,
sick, unmotivated) or polish and detail the interior (self-esteem) or you
need a new map or water in your tank (Spiritual refreshment) to begin
again.....welcome to the Mo'Betta Motivation Service Station.
Here to serve you and motivate you to get back on the road of life.
I'll clean your windows so you can improve your outlook on life
and see where you want to go in life.

Just stay in the "diamond lane" it will make your life an interesting journey vs. a "trip."
