Hi, my name is Chanda. I am 18 years old and from Eastern Kentucky. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior on March 27, 1997. I was later baptised on January 11, 1998. The reason I started "The Christian Lounge" was not just to have my own site. It was a way to show what God has done in my life in hopes that it will change someone elses life. As a kid I had always believed that if I was a good person and did nothing wrong that I would one day be in Heaven. I believed that for a good portion of my childhood. Now, with the grace of God, I know the truth. The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. JN 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." I thank God for my friends that told me about God and His love for me. JN 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." We are so lucky to have someone that cares for us that much. Looking back on the years of my life, I wonder how I made it through without God. Now I still have my problems, everyone has problems. But I have something that can solve ALL problems. And I want to share it with everyone, "It's God"! God is always with you. When I am troubled I like to think about the poem "Footprints". It talks about this guy who is walking along the beach with the Lord and as he looks back at his footprints. He notices that at times there are only one set of footprints and it appears to be at the lowest points of his life. He asked the Lord why at the lowest times in his life, why did You leave me. The Lord replied, "When you see only one set of footprints, I was carrying you." I know with faith that God will take care of me and He won't let anything bad happen to me. Sometimes it is hard to accept what God wants for my life. But I trust that he knows what is best for me. God has truley made a remarkable difference in my life. I wasn't one who was into bad things. But that didn't matter. Without Jesus Christ, I was nothing and still on my way to hell. I know now that all sin is the same in the eyes of God. And without Gods forgiveness we would all be on a one way path to Hell. I am not trying to scare anyone. I just care for all of you so much that I want to see you all in Heaven one sweet day. And don't think for a minute that what you have done or the life that you have lead is too much for God to forgive. He loves you so much, He loves us all so much that He died for us, He is love, and He will forgive you. In the past year I have encountered more obstacles in my life than I ever could have imagined. If it hadn't been for God I can almost guarentee that I would not have made it through it. There were points in my life when I thought it couldn't get any worse. Then I realized that I had everything I need and that is God. God will supply me with everything that I need. With God in my life I have the peace that I had always wanted.

Accepting the Lord is as simple as ABC's. A-dmit to God that you are a sinner and that you are turning from your sins. B-elieve in Jesus by thanking Him for dying on the cross and rising from the dead for your sins. C-ommit your life to Jesus by asking Hin to come into your life as your Savior and Lord.

Consider this: 1. God loves you.-John 3:16;10:10. 2. You are a sinner in need of forgiveness. The Holy Spirit makes you aware of your sin.-Romans 3:23;6:23;Hebrews 9:27. 3. God wants to forgive you.-Romans 5:8;1 Peter 3:18. 4. You must turn away from your sins.-Luke 13:5;Ephesians 2:8-9. 5. You must place your faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ.-Acts 20:21;John 14:6. 6. You can recieve Jesus Christ through Prayer.-Revelation 3:20.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Pray the following prayer. "Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and have displeased You in many ways. I believe You died for my sins and only through faith in Your death and resurrection can I be forgiven. I want to turn from my sins and ask You to come into my life as my Savior and Lord. From this day on, I will follow You by living a life that pleases You. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen
