Another Christmas is finally over. I must say the highlight of the day was when I finally got to get together with some friends and exchanged gifts. My friends mean the world to me, and I don't know what I would do without them.

Sometimes friends mean more to you than your family. With family, it seems like an obligation to get a gift for them. Most times you struggle with what to even give them because you don't know that they like, or already own. With friends, it's so much more simple. You know them inside and out, and as soon as you see something special, you have to get it for them, and you KNOW they won't be disappointed with it.

You share so much with friends, even if you don't see them everyday, you know they are always there for you. Friends keep secrets better then family, because family always wants to "do the right thing", even when a secret is sometimes better kept.

So, on this day, take time to appreciate who is close to you, and who you have to share your life with. These are the people that will always be with you, and will never not know what gift you need, whether it be a material one or not.
