Well, everyone out there, Liz was a student of mine when I did my student teaching in Dublin. As you can see she has a fine variety of musical tastes. She also has a keen eye for a quality film. . .so urge her to put a film page! The questions about my favouite artists and songs were unexpectedly gruelling. I pride myself on the wide range of musical styles that I listen to. . .making a decision as to who or what is the best is a tough deal. As I sit here in ol' Pittsburgh, PA, I think about all the g eat local music I saw while staying in Dublin: Nuala Marchetti, Claire Bonass (she is coming next week for a gig at my friend's bar- I can't wait!), Dave Murphy, Damien Dempsy, Paddy Casey, Terry Sutter, Nigel ?, Luka Bloom, and so on.
