I served as the 1st Platoon medic in Alpha Co. 2nd Battalion 28th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division (Big Red One). My Dad was a Paratrooper, serving in WWII. I am fully aware of what the Vets have gone through. I have spoken to many, and heard of the horrible stories. I have also seen pictures. I thank all the Veterans, with all my heart. I have six children who a e aware of what our Veterans have done for us, and how they paid with their lives.

You are right, it is shameful that these veterans are not brought home, and heart breaking for their families...the poem at the beginning is a real eye opener.."It is the soldier..., too bad the reporters, poets, lawyers and demonstrators are the ones who get the media...and will never get the message.
