YOU BRING HAPPY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Growing up with you taught me a lot
about sharing, caring,
and being considerate
of someone else's feelings.
Together we learned the value
of loyalty, of accepting each other,
and standing by each other
through thick and thin.
I still like knowing that you
will understand all our inside jokes,
or that I can call you if I need to talk.
And because we've shared
a childhood full of family memories,
I only have to be with you
or talk to you to feel like I'm home again.
