Tuesday, April 29, 2004. A day that will live on in infamy. It started out like any other normal, tuesday afternoon. you know, did the normal shnazz and dazz. then i went to a tennis match. which was fun, you know. tennis rocks! well, let us continue with the story. anyway, louise comes to visit, and we decided to go and get something to eat. so we get into my car, and leave the tennis courts to go to Taco Bell, king of all fast food tacos. little do i know that someone else is using the road...
a fine officer of the charlottesville police force came down the road driving towards me. which is fine, i mean, cops drive by me all the time. as they should. however, this cop did one thing that he should not have done. he pulled a U-turn and turned on his lights.
i saw the flashing from his lights in my rear view mirror. i think i said "crap, what did i do?"
to which louise replied, "i think you ran a stop sign". *editors sidenote: This is NOT the first time louise has been with somebody for their first ticket. coincidence? i think not.
i replied to the reply, with an enthusiastic, "there was a stop sign?"
... to make a long story short, there was no stop sign. the cop wrote me a ticket for not having my state inspection sticker! which is crazeeeey. i thought anyway...
stupid cops at the end of the month trying to fill their quotas!
