Rant

There is a serious problem in my Honors English class. It's called girls. Who are morons. Let me explain:
Every time we watch a movie, they cannot keep quiet and enjoy it. They have to shout out obvious plot elements and their feelings about the characters, e.g. "What a jerk. Jerk jerk jerk jerk." Also, during key parts of the movie, they laugh hysterically so you can't hear. Today we watched East of Eden, and during the climax, when James Dean is crying because his dad won't except his gift of money, the whole classroom was engulfed in laughter. Is this really the conduct of the Honors class, a class that is supposed to be elevated above the school? Yes. Am I disappointed about this? Yes. Should I expect anything more from the average stupid high school girl*? No. But they also have to have every little thing explained to them. Why are they in that class? Because they think they are very intelligent, super popular, with opinions that need to be expressed to everyone because they are so super important. They can bite me. So hey, Freddie Got Fingered sucked.

*DISCLAIMER- There are only five boys in that class and seventeen girls. Boys would probably act stupid too, but there aren't any really stupid ones in there.

Back to home. 1
