Happy Groundhog Day!

Another four more months of winter… I'm in Seattle. Okay, I should really stop complaining about the city. It's not that bad really. Once you get used to the webbed feet and the gills.

Oh, and incidentally if you have never watched the movie Groundhog Day, (the one with Bill Murray) you should see it. It's incredibly funny.

I had a few errands to run. I first went to CompUSA to return a present. The mall was next. I went to get some train stuff for Ted, who I'd be seeing this weekend. Then went to get the shoe laces since mine had broken yesterday. What else? Oh, yeah, then there was the trip to The Bon.

Normally, I wouldn't shop at The Bon; it's a little too snotty of a store for me. However, I was looking for something in particular and I figured that this would be an easier place to find it. Silk Boxers. No kidding. I wanted some new boxers and figured that I would try silk boxers. Well that's not the strange part.

I went to the Men's Furnishings department. I looked at some of the boxers on the rack. I also looked around at the furnishing in the surrounding areas. What might you guess I find there at 50% off? Socks? No. Briefs? No. Emergency Automobile Kits? Yes. I honestly didn't even know that they sold these at the Bon. Who on earth is doing their market research? A couple of points here… Do they figure that men who happen to be interested in socks and underpants would look around and discover that they suddenly have a need for an Emergency Auto Kit? Or do they figure that Men's Furnishings is the first place that people will look for an Emergency Auto Kits?

Very strange.

I had a craving for Teriyaki chicken, but it was close to 9pm and I had no hope of getting to the restaurant in time. Yes, even if I were to drive my fastest. So I settled for McDonald's, who had crummy McNuggets today. Overcooked and dry. Blah!

Sorry, about the otherwise short entry. Just not a particularly eventful day.
