Mickey diving
This is another pose that I saw elsewhere and I liked. Note again the exaggerated gestures… the over-extended hands and extremities and the over-arched back. Also note how they don't really look out of place.Although you can't see it from this particular picture, the original cartoon had a thin white line that separated the left arm and the darker regions of the head. The lines were there to delineate the arm and were contained in the negative space, which is, in this case, the head.
This particular Mickey also contains solid eyes and no brows, which, I think, gives him a more classic look, and obviously this one was inked.
