The Randwick & Coogee Amateur Swimming Club was formed in 1896.  This friendly Club holds races and social events at Wylie's Baths, one of Sydney's best tidal pools, neighbouring Coogee Beach.

All four strokes are swum each Saturday throughout the season, which lasts from the first Saturday in October until the end of March.  As the races are handicapped the emphasis is placed on self improvement.  Parents are also encouraged to particpate in the adult races.

Numerous local identities have been members of the Club over the years, including Ron Casey, Peter Court, Sonja Feil, Don Furness, Chris and Paul Gately, Rupert Mudge, Michael Ormsby, Des Renford and the Windon brothers.

An invitation is extended to anyone interested to come along to Wylie's Baths, on Saturday mornings during the season.
