Perhaps nothing but a dream.
It was never to be held as a vision.
It's light subject to the deminishing of passing days.
And yet in one brief day
That dream became reality
I could feel it...I knew
You left the taste, the warmth of your lips
Forever bound to mine.
The velvety softness of your voice
Echoing in my ears
Becoming one with you.
In your loving arms I asked
If it could begin.
And knew the distance that you kept
Weary with longing for the peace you brought
Closing my eyes surrending...
To a gentleness I had never known
I close my eyes again
To seek the brightness of my dreams...
The time in your arms
Breathing only the sighs you exhale
