Westmeyer" What's going down? The tab for this song was in a recent Guitar World(Feb '93). The intro riff goes like this: -----1------1------1---1----- --------3------3-----------2- ---2-----------------0------- 0---------0------0-------2--- ----------------------------- ----------------------------- This is done three times total, and then a similie for the fourth time. For the chord part, it goes: Hey kids... Dm Nobody... G And so on. The next chord part is something like: (I forget the lyrics) F Am Em (for a measure and a half) G (for the half measure) The electric guitar part consists of D and C barre chords (ie, x5777x and x3555x). Hope this helps. The riff the fourth time through goes like this: ------1------1---------------- ---------3----------3---3---3- ----2-----------2---0h2p0---0- -0---------0------0-------2--- ------------------------------ ------------------------------ h means hammer-on and p means pull-off. This part was rather tricky to learn. If I ever remember to bring the magazine to the clusters, I'll post the rest of the song. In the mean time, I also remember this (the electric part): -5------------- ----8--6------- ----------7---- --------------- --------------- --------------- Then a C barre chord. G string:--5h7---, then another C barre chord. Then the electric part above, only just the first three notes, then a D barre chord. Next, B string: --6---, then the D again. This is basicly the entire electric guitar part. ****From: etlcrcy@bugs.ericsson.se (Chris Cleverly) Verse: Chords are; Dm Dm G G Dm Dm G G Chorus: Chords are; Fm Em G G Em Em G G ****From: jdell@nefertiti.mit.edu (John Ellithorpe) I actually got the riff from Guitar World(?) maybe a month ago or more. It's mostly just picking the Dm chord: Riff 1 Riff 2 ||----1---1---1---1------ ||----1---1-------------- ||-----3---3---------3--- x3, I think, then ||-----3---3---3-3-3----- ||--------------0-------- ||-------------0h2-0----- ||--0---0---0------0----- ||--0---0---0--------3--- ||----------------------- ||----------------------- ||----------------------- ||----------------------- Then it goes into the verse, I don't have the lyrics but this is basically it: Dm G Riff 1 Riff 2 (x4) Then it goes into, F Am G G Then it has Em Em Riff 1 Riff 2 Also, Bucks electric guitar comes in with, ||--5------------------5------------------- ||-----8--6-----5/6-------8--6------------- ||-----------7------7-----------7--5/7--7-- ||----------------------------------------- ||----------------------------------------- ||--------------------------------------- John --
