Friends

Friends, friends, friends. Where would one be without them? Probably a tad richer.... :). This is a list of most of my friends. This serves no purpose but to glorify them, and serve as a public health warning towards the sanity of the presented individuals. All likenesses are copyrighted to their original owners. I claim no responsiblity for ANYTHING caused by this page, unless u like the responce, in which case I declare it mine by right of conquest, and will require ransom for it back.

Now, scarily enough, I have enough friends to warrant sections, of which only the IRC friends (see hobbies) will have photographs. Thus, logically, they are the most interesting and are put down the bottom in a blatant effort to make u read (or at least glance at) the whole thing. Also, the gifs are heavy and sink to the bottom. I haven't descided which yet.

Non Computer Related Friends

(*)Jos(*)Jocelyn Harm Nam. My Fiancee. Anything u ask about her will be biased to the positive side, and totally truthful. Figure that one out.
Daniel Bondeson. Best friend since high school. Sence of sanity like mine. Approach with extreme caution or high calibur ranged weapon. I recomend the weapon.
Ben Genn. Bastard. This guy, without so much as a breif sojourne at university or equivilent had the audacity, AND the audicity to get himself a great computer job straight out of school. Also ran a BBS in QLD (which he let me Co-sys for a while...which is another word for lackey). Gave me my first TRUE taste of COMPUTING POWER! by showing me his original BBS on his Ega Amstrad XT. LOOK OUT! INCOMING NOSTALGIA! *duck*
Phil Thorn. Roleplayer, and DM extrodinare. Holder of many parties, of minature, roleplaying and pure drunken revelry varieties. Known for his ability to master any game shown to him in about 3 plays, and trounce the hell out of whoever was showing him.
Damien (Hoagie) Cook. Neat bloke. Remember "Day of the Tentacle?"
Gazunta. Weirder than me. And _THATS_ saying something. And it aint nice :). Check out his Video Game Intellect and Witt (note capitals) at This Location (no not here, at the LINK, the LINK, boy [or girl])

Anthony Tyssen. Another Genius. Maybe I should name my son Anthony? :). Guy in charge of network here at Griffith University, Nathan. Access his page by squishing this.
Hong Shen. My ex-Supervisor. A legend. Please can i pass? Worship this physical embodyment of pure parallel glory at His home page.
Chris Eastwood. My cubicle budy at my full time job. Damn SQL, PL/SQL, ProC genius+, excellent taste in music (Akira S/track, Dead Can Dance), and DAMN funny guy. His page is here so please, drop in and give him a visit. He takes cool photos too!

Computer Related Friends - IRC

I admit it, I'm a social leper. Only people who don't have to be in close quarters with me have anything to do with me :)
Gorgeous Picture |TORI|: Hi Mum! (she hates that :)). No, she's not really my mother (damnit), but shes the next best IRC-Thing. Ex owner of #cubbyhouse. You WILL worship her like the godess she is or else.
well, maybe not This oneDante: My partner in Crime. You haven't experience sheer stupidity indulgence till u've checked out #blueroom (or anywhere else for that matter) when we get started. The Abbot And Costello script has never looked so...well...typed. But seriously (HA!), he's a living legend in comedic and RPG events, and he's a damn fine computer game player and stuff-around-with-the-insides-erer. Take that anyway you like :)
Georgeous Picture of Another Georgeous Personhappy: This bundle of energy is happy, duh. She's a Griffite, and also one of my ex-students. I'm sure u'll recognise this by the fact of the huge smile on her face since she doesn't have to see me every week. Heh. She's Extrememly funny, almost to the point of having to give her honourary Male status. But, she's too qualified in other areas for that dubious honour.
Valheru: Another Griffithite. This guy lives for Raymond E. Feist books and hey, who can blame him? If u don't know what I'm talking about, check out your local library.
|ToyBoy|: Another #cubbyhousian. Seeing a trend yet? Unfortunately, I haven't seen much of the toymenator recently, so there aint much I can say. Toyboy! Tell me stuff!.
Another Georgeous Pic. Aren't u missing out? Xanthra: Hmm, y don't I leave the channel these people frequent out if their from cubbyhouse? This wonderful woman lives southerly, and is a camera maniac. She's moved from the great freezer (Victoria), to just below the QLD border. Nice try Xan, just a _leetle_ further.
Drea: Great. She's not much of a cubbyhousian, I met her before it was created at #drop, her channel. A bit to busy with her career to IRC much anymore, but great fun when she gets on. The only other living (or non-living, or anything in between) being (or non-being...you get the drift) that owns a cupboard. Be afraid, be VERY afraid.
Convinced u to get a Graphics Browser Yet? snobabe: Hehe, and I bet u thought attractive women avoided me like the plague. Well, I have Jocelyn and snobabe to prove it (although, snobabe hasn't met me in real life, so u'll have to forgive her :)). U want proof? U got it!

(She's the one holding the baby, not...sheesh.)
By gosh, theres a lot of these Iceman: Well, to prove that snobabe isn't as silly as she now sounds, we have Ice, her hubby. This guy's pretty darn cool as well, just going to show that not everyone in Western Australia is to be avoided.
I wonder, should I put useful captions here? DemiGod: Neat bloke. Also HUGE (and I aint talking Heavy, I'm talking Barbarian, with a sense of humour). I'm yet to see him in his society gear, beating the snott out of someone, but it'd probably be fun :)). But, if u check out his hp above, u'll see his society gear, and firebreathing. Tre cool.
Wacked: Right. I've been put under pressure to put this lady in, so in retalliation, I'm not saying ANYTHING about her. So I'm petty, surely you've all figured that out by now...
Nonna: Oopsie.....This should have been up at the top, but I'm too gawd-damn lazy to move it now. However, nonna is a wonderful woman, and she's moved up here to marry. I can't get over it, someone VOLUNTARILY and with FULL KNOWLEDGE OF HER ACTIONS moved closer to me.....
hmmmmemoiselle: You know, I really should put this in alphabetical order. Ah to hell with it. Anyway, this is here for u to know about emoiselle. Hmm, just looking at her picture says it all. Georgeous, sensitive, lovely with children (esp. me), intelligent and, when niko is away, incredibly horney. Hmm, maybe its NOT a good idea to put the last one in....
To caption, or not to caption....PolythPam: Bwahahaha, finally found that picy.. In case u haven't guessed, the Polster is a beatles fan through and through. She's also Canadian, but I beleive we can overlook that discretion. At anyrate, Wonderful person, quite attractive, and can sing the lungs off a lungfish. She's singing for the Queen u know.
NAH Chopin: Just to be annoying, I'm not going to put this in alphabetical order. Anyway, this is Chopin, a great singer, and all around humerous persona. The first person yet who wolf-huged me :). Apart from that, he's an Ircer from the Cubby, and soon, he might be performing Memory for your listening pleasure.
I could almost put a story in here. |Redragn|: Well, she complained, and for that reason she is cursed to be apart of this page. I had only spoken to her occasionally, but now that she's on more often, I can put more here :). After meeting her at the George of the Jungle meet, I hereby award her with the official Cool Person award of Wed, 1 Oct. This entitles the owner to stick it up the nose of anyone who dissagrees with her station.
Alternatively, a great place for subliminal messages RD: The man formerly known as RedDoG (well, to his face anyway), this is one of the original group of gag sparring partners we had from Cubby. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line he foolishly picked up a "life" and is now not on quite as often. Still, when he does get back on, he's as easy to defeat as ever :). Oh and if anyone can tell me what the heck he's doing in the picture, control urself and tell someone who cares.
Shai`tan: Hmmm, take a gander at Xanthra's page for a piccy. Couldn't be stuffed going to get it myself, so if YOU want it, go and get it urself. Oh, and well, he's a pretty damn funny guy too. Except when he's wearing my bloody Battle Hat of Doom(tm) backwards like a HEATHEN!
You have a sudden desire to give Colin all your
moneyCadbury: This is beginning to freak me out. I'm getting more and more people willing to associate with me, and females to boot. If this isn't a sign that natural selection is flawed, I don't know what is. Anyway, that piccy is of cadbury, and innocent little waif.. nah, I'm not getting paid enough. Be warned, wear a titanium crotch box around this girl.
Malisa`: An american, but a forgiven one cos she's so damn nice. Really. I know, if I were u I wouldn't beleive me either, but she is. She's WAY to nice for IRC, so the cupboard and I are going out of our way to try and ensure she doesn't get corrupted to the dark side.
Somehow, I don't think that's going to workKatie_: See, another one? By golly, I didn't KNOW there were this many women in the world. This woman is great fun, but be warned, she's a party animal to the max
But you have to admit, it was worth a
trySnofox: Why does this list continue to grow? Is humanity truely that lemming-esque that it continues to choose the most dangerous possible path? Yes. Anyway, speaking of danger, be warned, this woman is part two of the duo from which the Titanium Crotch Box Protection Act of 1997 was drawn up to combat. Do not be beguiled by her silver tongue, glowing wit, and sparkling demeanour. Beneath is a vixen of great measure. But, if ur into that sort of thing, please, by all means.
Or maybe you don't have to, see if I care...Cyclops: Star trekkin, accross the universe.....Heh, don't get me started. This is Cyc, Star Trekker extrodinare, accomplished programmer, and all around devil-maycare scripting fool. If ur lucky, maybe we won't blast u. Has unfortunately now lost his internet access, which goes to show big business doesn't care for fictional heros anymore.
Ok, ok, so I care, please give me some nice
comments....Choccy/Timtam: This delectable treat is a Taswegian, but originally from somewhere else. An all around fun treat, alot like the sweet she mirrors, her page recently had a makeover. So, if u want more info, please avail urself of the above link, but be warned, do NOT give her your True name....
Just mail them too me, that's
sufficientCassy-lee: Ha, and I called the other people a bundle of fun. This little bundle's about as stable as 2 parts nitroglycerine to 3 parts Double Jolt, so watch out. However, she is an extremely nice person, just don't let her near any power tools.
Nutter: Amazing how many people have a sweet tooth isn't it. Maybe if we put Cadbury, choccy and nutter together, we'd have Coronary. Or maybe not. This vixen of the electronic highways has many ways of saying hi, and is great fun to muck around with [Platonically electronically of course :)]. Has claimed to have IRC'ed naked, regardless of the warning labels, so please, if ur from the FBI, disregard this person
please? I'l be ur best friend..[Shathis]: Beware, for this is she of the bleated tongue!! Known throughout this page for her tendancy to spontaneously bleat at the slightest provokation. So, provoke at will, I implore you. Apart from that, she has her moments of fun, being head 'bitch' of the channel. So, direct all sexist comments in her direction.
Maybe it'd work better if I promised NOT to be ur
best friendSunni: Heheh, trust her to say Demigod looks like a big, cuddly bear. She's cute, she's cuddly, she's funny, and she's a , so do NOT let ur guard down near her. AND she has her picture here :). I hope THIS satisfies u sunni, sheesh.
Sly: Phew, some masculinity to try and push the balance back to our rightful superiority. Not that I mind being out numbered that much. But anyway, this is about Sly, so pay attention. A male regarded with awe for working with Demi on their own ISP etc. Extremely computer brilliant, and quite funny, whenever the HELL he descides to actually answer and not be away doing work, I mean, sheeeeesh. Priorities, man!
Clover: Ah, the scurge of Camera's everywhere. She is ALWAYS getting me to give her my cameras from my cupboard. Good thing the cupboards got an infinite supply :). But, apart from that, she is Tre Cool, with her only fault being that she's NOT FROM BRISBANE so I can't see her often. Silly woman. But I repeat myself.
Or mayve there's no chance at
ALL it would work, and I should just give upAslan: Yup, more extreme masculinitisms. And large words at that. This guy is another WoD personality type, the Were-cat. *Relapse watches the women faint. Sigh, how come THEY get that and us werewolves only get running away and screaming. That bites. But I digress. Aslan (now joshuar) is a way cool guy, just polished off his thesis I beleive.
*sigh* oh, the life of a twitt is a difficult onestrop: Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I can't BELEIVE I left this off. So, in a blatent attempt to get back in her good.....books, I write this. Strop is an extremely nice person, who lives..somewhere. Dunno where. She's also the GF of Shai`, so that should give u some idea about her sanity, or grip on reality. But 'sides that she's real fun to be around, and she brightens the channel muchly. Please don't kill me.

Computer Related Friends - Shapeshifters

At last, I have a spare 20 seconds to try and remember out of hundreds of people I know on the Shapeshifters IRC Roleplaying system, who deserves honarable mention (well, mention at any rate), on this mockery of a web page. And no, this one isn't going to be in any particular order EITHER. Oh, and I'll hand over control from Relapse the guy to Relapse the character. Note the almost complete lack of difference.

Interlock: Glasswalker boss of Shapeshifters. One of the original owners, and the local Rank 5. Thankfully, she doesn't view my self ronin-ism too badly. Unfortunately, being a rank 5, she's exceptionally busy so she's not around much. When she is, however, expect the traditional tackle-hug, and a good laugh. Just don't break too many pieces of furniture... its moderately expensive.
Fastclaw: Second half of the Shapeshifters ownership, and other half of Interlock. Again, he's highly ranked also, so he's normally only seen when the club needs some renovation or some such. But still, say a respectful hi when you get the chance.
Roadkyll: Number one skunky buddy. Yes, this guys a Sep..s...were-skunk. But don't worry, he's not allowed to spray in the club, so we're all safe. Gave me a helping hand with a situation a while ago, involving a re-work of my Anti-Gar virus, and it worked better than I coulda expected. Kinda helped a while ago, when the poor guy had his personality split over each of his forms, which all appeared seperately. I think he's romantically involved with Maria, but hey. 'Ts none of my business. Definately have a looky under the couch to see if he's in the mood for a chat.
Maria: We've finally had a chat, and she's quite a nice person. I was wrong about why she's here, she's actually some cat kinda person. No, its not that she likes cat, well not only, I think she actually is one. Was. Might...ah stuff it, yes I am still as confused as before, HAPPY?! Oh, and it turns out Maria and Roadie might be getting Married. Is that cool or what? Oh, and she is a paramedic, so I was at least right on that part.
Emerius: One of the most respected mages of the club, he of the blues. No, he's not musically inclined, or reclined, he just likes blue. Lots of it. Order of Hermes I think, and he has Sean as his disciple. Still answers to Krensky for any really badstuff that he or Sean causes. Not exceptionally outgoing, unless you catch him in the right mood, but I think he and Deva have a thing going.
Deva: Ah, now this poor souls got a couple'a hundred stories, but I'll try to keep it short. She was an angel, fallen to earth to do nice things, like all angels do. Under her control (kinda) was her 'ribbons', kinda like a multi-thread cloak that she could make do...basically stuff. But, after a debarkle I won't go into, her ribbons are now dormant, so she's just Deva. She did have the ability to be as fast as lightning, damn fast, but has since had another metamorphosis thanks to a number of factors. Now, she looks like your traditional angel, except she's not 2d and on the wall of some church. Wide, white wings are on her back and she's lost her ability to win every marathon in the book. I just hope she's OK.
Blue`Star: Pigment enhanced elf-guy from another tellurian, which makes saving his life really tricky, let me tell you. Yet another different kind of mage, this one seems to use a completely different type of magic to the others though. Understands english, but his grasp of metaphors and phrases can be comically taken advan....err ....I mean ... quite amusing.
Kasha: Kasha.... *sigh*. This guy was once of the Silver Fangs but.. has since been embraced by Z`Neth and is now an abomination. If he was anywhere else but here, he would have been destroyed on sight by either vampires or us wolves. Since he isn't, his life isn't any more threatened than the rest of us. Quite the musician, name a song and he'll likely play it. I was there at the embrace, I didn't know till after though. I can't help but feel slightly responsible, and sorry for him, but he seems to have taken it in his stride. ** Update: He's cured! But what a cure, Erebus. *shudder* It got rid of his vampiric taint, but what cost?
Jalean: Another abomination. Its a sad sign of the times, but she is a good person, and I'm quite happy to call her friend. She....does....occasionally act a little...well...over friendly, but I ain't judging her for it. Make sure you give her a big, open armed snuggle when you meet her, she's really soft 'n' cuddly.
Celena: A nice girl, who I unfortunately have not had much time to get to know. She's a great carer, I worry that she might take on more than she can handle, because she couldn't live with herself if she didn't help. An admirable goal, sure, but destroying yourself to help others helps no-one. Wow, maybe I should write a book on pithy phrases or somethin'. Nah, I think I'll stick to this. I meet more people like Celena this way :). I've still got the bruises from our skateing lessons though. Must get her back someday....*grin*
Sean: Emerius' apprentice. Seems a nice enough fella, when he's not got some psycho vampire trying to drain him dry. Dunno as yet whether he's finally free for good from DJFrost, but Em isn't taking chances. Sean's been bottled off to some faerie training camp, where he has his butt kicked around by trolls, and is laughed at. If that's not character building I don't know what is. In my day, we couldn't afford camps and had to kick OURSELVES around a small room, etc.
M5/D-341: Or Marvin to his friends, is our local HITmark. Hey, get out from behind that solid re-inforced titanium wall, wouldn't do you any good anyway if you were a troublemaker. Krensky brought this beaten up HIT into the club, and has reprogrammed it (with my help, of course), so that it now protects the club and its denizens. Installed without Krensky's knowledge was an RAS unit, the Random Accent Switcher. As such, he's gradually developing a less computechional personality, and is practicing playing the uilleen pipes.
Krensky: Immortal. He owns the building the shapeshifters club occupies, and has for quite a long time. Probably one of my oldest friends around the place, no pun intended. Not only is he immortal, but he's also a dab-hand at magick, and is 'Walker kin to boot. Pretty impressive eh? Not known for his party-tricks or outgoing nature, still the guy I'd most like to have by my side in the jam. Of course, I'd rather not be there in the first place, but hey.
AmberHawk: Another of the darkened elvish people, this woman is Blue's mummy. She's also the...wait...no can't say that....or that....yeah, that's secret too...BUM. Well, I guess all I can really say is that she's another dark elf, which I have. I suppose I can also say I helped her out with a bit of an Umbral style problem a while ago. She's also has a brilliant mind, excellent agility and is one complete and total babe, but PLEASE don't tell Blue I said that. Man, but it sucks having the mother of a good friend being..so...totally fantastic. Hmm...I think I better go have a cold bath *leap*
