I graduated from The University of California, San Diego in 1995 with a BA in Ethnic Studies and an Area Focus in Black American Music. I received my MA in Education from San Diego State University, in Postsecondary Educational Leadership and Instruction,and I currently work as the Director at theUCSD Women's Center. I am also an instructor and Instructor Trainer for R.A.D. Systems--Rape Aggression Defense. Over the years, some of my favorite chat places have beenChathouse, Yahoo Chat, and/or Hawaii Chat Universe.I have been seen under the infamous handle of 1-900-JASMINEŠ, the not-so-famous La_Filipina, or DEATHBIRD. I once belonged to an Asian-American women's theatre troupe called Funky Fresh Pan-ethnic Asian Girls, under the direction of Jora Trang, born out of the first west coast Asian Women's Conference held at UCSD May 20-21, 1994, out of the need to find alternative artistic venues of empowerment and self-expression.
