8th September 1999 The travellers section is opened with news of Mike Brownsdon's whereabouts and the route he has traced so far through Africa. Hopefully many more destinations will be added as more of us strike out for warmer and more exotic climes.

24th August 1999 By popular demand Rachel Hankinson and Sid are appointed to the affiliates list.

23rd July 1999 Right! You all have no excuse now that the profile form is linked from the bottom of each profile page. Just click there, fill out the details in the pop up window and your profile will be updated as soon as I get the chance. I am hoping to make that happen automatically in the not too distant future, though there are some problems as our host Geocities will not let me run the necessary program on their server. In the event that the Old Boys' Club has to move to a new location rest assured the http://drive.to/meng address will always work. I'll do my best to make sure everybody can find the new site. Oh, and happy Graduation everybody!

12th July 1999 The highly esteemed Miss Caitlin Topham takes her long overdue place on the affiliates list.

Sometime in early July The site has it's 100th visit! Sadly the administration totally missed this momentous event so no prizes can be awarded. And it's far too late to claim it was you now! Here's to number 1000, if ever there be one.

June 22nd, '99 New affiliates added by (popular!?) request - Rich Gardiner, Phil Tomlin, Rich Light. Our warmest welcomes guys; pull up a chair, have a cigar!

7th June, 1999 The message board is launched, which may yet turn out to be the very linchpin of the site, providing, as it does, the perfect medium for dishing out abuse from a safe distance.

June 3rd 1999 The site is uploaded into its specially prepared Geocities directory. This day was effectively its launch, but such intense holidaying had gripped the newly retired student body that the news took some time to get around.

End of May/
Early June, 1999 Seemingly having been very wicked in some former life Dan comes straight out of exam hell into a couple of days of intense web-design and interrogation of Rich W for ideas. It was a very productive time (it's amazing what he'll come up with when he should be revising!) and there were plenty of things thought up that we don't quite know how to do or what to do with yet. In fact the hardest part was coming up with a solution to the problem: "How do you draw wood?". I tell you, it's a hell of a lot easier than drawing a brass plaque - hence the style of fixtures and fittings that adorn the walls of the club. Anyway, in no time at all it was complete and ready to be unleashed on a waiting world.
