"How can you expect to be taken seriously if you're not a member?"
Chronicling the "careers" of the veritable cream of the University's 1999 mechanical engineering graduates as they depart from the bosom of the Sheffield student community to peddle their indubitable, diverse and occasionally worrying talents in the near and far off corners of the globe. Well, somebody's got to keep an eye on that lot or who knows what might happen? With a lack of volunteers to play mother and hold their hands out there in the big bad world, the very least we can do is put aside a little cyberspace through which they can track each other down in times of need. So, be it for simply catching up with mates, seeking a collective shoulder to cry on, desperately seeking free help from someone who might remember how a gas turbine works, gloating over a new high-powered and hideously overpaid promotion or merely reminiscing and organising the odd (for sure!) reunion for this select group of friends, make this a port of call. The thrills, the spills, the laughs and all the dirt will be recorded here so you can recall with a fond sigh the days of drunken benders and high jinks (or, more likely, crippling all-nighters in the computer centre, massive debts and furious digging in a pile of discarded pizza boxes for the remote control to flick to Sunset Beach). Admit it, you miss it don't you!?
