With the death of the Princess Emeraude, Cephiro has turned from a beautiful life-rich planet to a life-less
barren wasteland. The second season of Magic Knight Rayearth begins with the mysterious summoning
of the Magic Knights back to Cephiro. Still distraught by the tragic death of the Princess Emeraude, the Magic Knights
reunite with old enemies and friends and must help Doshi Clef to elect a new Pillar and restore life back to Cephiro.The vulnerability of Cephiro has attracted invaders from other planets we wish to conquer the planet for themselves. The invaders include Eagle Vision from Autozam, Aska from Fahren, and Tatra and Tarta from Chizeta. Eagle Vision comes from a technological-advanced planet and uses his Mech and pure technology for conquest. Aska is the Princess of Fahren who practices her planet's royal art of illusionary attacks to beat her enemies. Tatra and Tarta are twin sisters who perform a mystical dance that conjures Chizeta Genies to do the fighting for them. Together, these invaders wish to become the new Pillar of Cephiro and conquer Cephiro for themselves.
Through these imminent threat, little do the Magic Knights know that there is a new and more powerful evil created by the destruction and fear of the inhabitants of Cephiro. This evil wishes to destroy all life on Cephiro and Cephiro's last hope, the Magic Knights.
Will the Magic Knights be able to save Cephiro from this new and more powerful enemy? Knowing the tragic destiny of Pillar of Cephiro, will the Magic Knights fight to restore it or will they follow their conscious to change Cephiro once and for all?
