Crusty Demons Of Dirt video.

This video is awesome!

It has some unreal footage as well as a kick ass sound track.
I have also heard from an unreliable source (my freind at my local bike shop J&P Motorcycles) that Seth Enslow is dead!?! He said that Seth died in a snowboarding accident.
Well, if this is true....God speed Seth, he pushed the limits of dirt bike riding and influenced many a dirt bike rider. Long Live the Memory of Seth!

Anyway, the soundtrack to this flick includes songs by White Zombie and is really suited to the footage.
I constantly argue with my brothers over which bits are in slow-mo and which bits are not.
The footage of one bike following another bike through a single file track, I reckon, is sped up. My brother Dean says otherwise.

You may have guessed by now that the title of my home page is borrowed from this video. Please don't sue me for copyright or something nasty like that, I'm a harmless, and very poor, uni student!!

My

Ibanez Guitar

My Ibanez is a 1986 model RG 570F , which means it has been outdated by two model updates, BUT, the models that updated the 570 range (the RG 470) are of lesser standard. I dont want to sound like I'm bagging the new ones just because mine is old, there is no doubt that my guitar has been outdated, but Ibanez in their wisdom(?) created a lesser standard guitar to replace the 570 model.
As well, the new models are made in Korea, not in Japan.

Any way, I'll get off my soap box now.
My RG is black. Its not just the body that is black, the whole damn thing is black! The body, head stock, tremelo system, the knobs, the toggle switch, the nut, and even my strap is black. You can't get much blacker.
The neck on my guitar is very flat and thin. It doesn't even sit back into my palm very well because it is so thin!
The action is better now that I have put new strings on and set it up. I'd guess that the action at, say the 12th fret, would be 1 to 1 and a 1/2 millimeters.

The pick ups are :

These aren't bad pick ups, there are definitely better ones, but they do fine for now.

XR 350 Honda

The bike that I enjoy riding the most is a 1984 XR 350 RE

This bike started it's life at my house a couple of years ago after my dad purchased it from a private seller in Melbourne. It was a 250 motor in a 350 frame. My dad spent heaps of money on doing it up but it just kept on breaking down. Finally dad got the shits with it and braught a new/second hand 350 motor to put back into it's rightful place. Now she hoons! The only thing that needs work now is the suspension.

InCar Entertainment

This is an Australian Publication that is devoted to car audio . Some of the cars they feature are kick-ass!
I seem to have a liking for the Honda CRX's that they have featured from time to time. These little buzz boxes pump out 118 kw of power!!! Not bad when you consider they only weigh a little over a ton.

The system I have in Bessie has been pieced together over some time. The more I learnt about car audio, the better quality components I used. I have a 10 inch Pioneer sub directed into the boot from the rear of the back seat. It is powered by a Audio Strada 2 channel amp. I have bridged the channels so she absolutely pumps! The rest of the sytem consists of 2 x 3-ways and 2 x dual cones in the front, and 2 x 3-ways and 2 x mid-bass drivers in the back.

I still have a poor quality powered graphic equalizer from the very beginnings of my stereo days, which creates a lot of white noise in the system. Maybe if I ever buy a new car or win lotto I will replace it with higher quality stuff.

Click on the CRX to see a bigger picture of the car I'm going to own when I win the lotto. It is a huge picture so please be patient, it is worth the wait....if you're into cars....
