Welcome to my homepage.
The Unofficial Eric's Trip Homepage is up again! Due to some f*cking FTP en HTML programms &
because of a lack of time I couldn't update it anymore. But here it is again :) In the meanwhile
I also "lost" some things on the computer including all the Eric's Trip stuff, except for the
lyrics, guitar tabs and pictures :( so there could be some things missing...

When someone says Eric's Trip my brains start spinning around and they come up with the following
words: Canadian, lo-fi, jummie, noize, c00l, Sonic Youth, Julie, Chris, Mark, Rick, 7", split-up.
- Eric's Trip are from Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
- Some people try to put bands in all kinds of genres, and
you'll probably find Eric's Trip in the "lo-fi" section.
- They are like a sweet cherry, a beautiful, red, tasteful
strawberry: jummie (unless you hate fruits (I know people who
hate fruits isn't that weird?) or you have a fruit-allergy).
- Lo-fi bands can produce a lot of noize (although I have never
heard a band producing more noize than Atari Teenage Riot.
Digital
Hardcore Recordings)
To describe Eric's Trip with one word...
that one word would
be c00l, aka cool or kewl (or in Dutch koel)
What has Eric's Trip got to do with Sonic Youth? Well it's
pretty simple... Eric's Trip is the name of a Sonic Youth song.
Eric's Trip is Julie Doiron - bass and vocals, Mark Gaudet -
drums, Chris Thompson - guitar, Rick White - vocals and guitar
Eric's Trip put out some great 7" records. Including some
wonderful split singles.
Unfortunately Eric's Trip decided to split up,
but there is still great music (what a tragedy).
