One thing unique about Ray is he has been married since
The Doors were formed. Her name is Dorthy and they have a son. Also, at the
end four notes of Touch Me, Ray says "Stronger than Dirt." I was told this
was from a laundry detergent commercial in 1969.
Contrary to what my music teacher thinks, Ray is a good keyboard player.
In concerts, Ray would play bass keyboard with his left hand while playing normal
keyboard with his right. In the song "Close to You", Ray also sang. And in one
concert, Jim had passed out, so Ray sang the entire concert as well.
One little piece of information: Ray's cat's name is Marmalade.
